Description: Businesses/Employers use surveillance cameras in the workplace, on the job site and even in company-owned vehicles.  In fact, Judges and juries alike expect companies to have such evidence knowing that it can be critical to the success or defense of a claim.  Preserving the evidence can be costly and cumbersome.  However, failing to preserve the evidence can be devastating, arising to “spoliation” in a litigated matter.  We will discuss means and methods to preserve the evidence and limit the scope of such discovery to avoid a claim or even hint of spoliation.
